Woodard Mott is from Oak Ridge, Louisiana where he has lived all of his life. He has farmed for twenty years and has hunted for thirty years. Woodard serves on the Morehouse Parish Natural Resource and Conservation board and stays current with changing laws and programs that directly effects farmers, ranchers, and landowners.
Woodard attended Louisiana Tech University and the University of Louisiana at Monroe where he studied Ag Business, and is a graduate of the LSU Ag Leadership program. He is an Alderman for the Village of Oak Ridge where he lives with his wife Sondra and two children, Anna and Neil.
