Jim Rolfe is a licensed professional real estate agent. He is a resident of Oak Ridge, LA and has farmed in Morehouse, Richland and Ouachita Parishes since 1979. He has experience in cotton, corn, soybeans and milo. He is an avid hunter and fisherman and loves spending time in the outdoors with his wife and three children Will, Emma, and Mary, who are all avid hunters and fisherman. He has been buying and selling farm and hunting properties since 1990 and licensed in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

Experiencing the great outdoors is one of my greatest passions! Hunting has been a family tradition passed down to me in spite of my gender and I count it a blessing! My experience with Jim Rolf has been amazing. When I decided to market my 1500 acre hunting property, I called him. Within a day or so he came out and toured my land. Within a few days he showed it to a prospective buyer. In 30 days my property was sold and closed! Jim is experienced, expedient and professional. He spent the time necessary to know the nuances and quirks that made my property special. I'm not suggesting that Jim will get every property sold in 30 days, but I am saying that I don't believe anyone else could put a complicated deal together like Jim.
When my mother passed away my sister and I decided to sell the family farm near Warden, LA and that presented multiple questions of how and who to retain since my sister and I both live in Texas hours away from that farmland. A banker in Monroe, LA, suggested that I contact Jim Rolfe with Brown Realty and told me that he is a "go getter". I came to find that is an understatement. Not only does Jim Rolfe sell farm property in Louisiana, but also Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas! Every time we talked it seemed that he was showing farmland in different state. He immediately, i.e. the day after our first telephone conversation, went to look at the farm and formulated his idea of the listing price. In a day we had a listing contract and in less than a week a buyer. He has a well oiled machine between his office and fellow realtors as well as with a law firm who handles the paperwork for a sale and everyone is extremely professional and efficient. I thought that having sellers in one state, a realtor in a second state and buyers from a third state would take weeks but rather only days. The closing was in less than thirty days from our first meeting by telephone. In addition, we hit it off finding that we have a lot in common such that we enjoyed talking about things other than farmland. I don't think that you will find a better realtor or person than Jim Rolfe!
I have worked with Jim on numerous land deals, he has been honest, fair, and great to work with. Jim responds 24/7 and knows no "off" hours. He will get in the pickup and drive 12 hours to show me properties at the drop of a hat. Fantastic service.
After several years of searching for our Forever Ranch, we found one 15 miles from our home and business. I contacted Jim Rolfe of Brown Realty in Feb of 2021 about the ranch. 16 month of hard negotiations and we closed July 2022. Jim worked countless hour between buyer and seller to keep everyone happy. After Jim & Jerry wrote the final offer they literally drove all night for 9 hour to hand deliver the offer to the sellers. Three years ago, we realized it was time to sell our multigenerational family ranch in Northwestern Oklahoma.
